Graphic Designer Prepress

The Role of a Prepress Designer:

As a prepress designer, you will create virtual mockups and proofs for our customers and prepare production files for decoration. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit customer-provided artwork to company-specific product templates.
  • Email customers for proof approval and handle edit requests.
  • Create proof and production templates for new products.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve design-related issues with files that affect production.
  • Vectorize art when the provided artwork is raster.
  • Apply basic photography skills.
  • Manage multiple orders and specialty projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Graphic Design with a focus on production design.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge or experience in the Promotional Products industry is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Imprinting and/or Engraving is also preferred but not required.
