Governance Operations Manager

As a key player in our governance framework, you will be responsible for driving compliance and adherence to processes across various teams. Your role will involve ensuring that all operational controls are in place and functioning effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compliance & Control: Oversee the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures; Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to established frameworks; Identify and address any gaps or deviations in operational controls.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate governance risks, including financial, operational, and service quality issues; Proactively address non-compliance or deviations related to internal stakeholders; Flag repeated incidents and drive systemic corrective actions and policy reinforcement.
  • Audit Readiness & Documentation: Maintain all project, partner, and compliance documentation in a state of readiness for audits; Lead regular internal audits across verticals and ensure timely closure of findings; Track and update governance metrics through structured dashboards and trackers.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reinforce a governance-first mindset; Work directly with partners (design, execution, vendors) to ensure clarity on compliance expectations and accountability; Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on new or revised policies.
  • Reporting & Escalation: Prepare comprehensive compliance reports and governance scorecards for business reviews; Present Root Cause Analysis and recommend preventive measures.

You should have 6–8 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, vendor operations, or audit roles in a similar capacity. Your expertise should include hands-on knowledge of policy enforcement, audit trails, documentation, and stakeholder training. Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills are also required with a bias for action. A background in real estate, interior design, consumer services, or execution-led businesses is preferred.
