Key Responsibilities:- Research & Content Development: Conduct in-depth research on potential guests, topics, and trending conversations within relevant niches. Develop guest background briefs, question banks, and conversation flow notes prior to each recording session. Identify cultural hooks, anecdotes, and news angles to make episodes more engaging and timely.
- Script Writing: Draft opening monologues, segment intros, transitions, and episode summaries. Create narrative story arcs for thematic episodes and special segments. Write compelling hooks for YouTube intros, reels, and shorts.
- Content Repurposing: Transcribe recorded conversations and distill key highlights. Convert podcast episodes into multiple content formats including social media posts, reels, tweets, blogs, newsletters, and captions. Write short-form and long-form captions optimized for different platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube).
- Collaboration & Creative Input: Work closely with the host, producer, and video editors to align content tone and style. Suggest creative ideas for episode formats, series themes, and viral content moments. Maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms.
- Exceptional Writing & Storytelling Ability: Demonstrated ability to craft engaging content in English.
- Strong Research Skills: Ability to simplify complex ideas and present them in an accessible manner.
- Digital Content Experience: Proven track record of writing for digital/video-first platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
- SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO-friendly titles, tags, and descriptions.
- Content Repurposing: Ability to creatively repurpose content for multiple formats.
