Job Title:

Piping Stress Engineer

Job Description:

Design and implement piping stress analysis for complex industrial projects. Conduct thorough assessments of pipeline systems to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Utilize industry-leading software, such as Caesar II and PIPENET, to perform stress analysis and pipe support design. Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and standards, including ASME B31.3, B31.4, and ISO 14692.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform stress analysis and pipe support design for above-ground and underground pipelines.
  • Develop and implement surge analysis reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safe design practices.
  • Conduct technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain correct pipe properties and ensure stress analysis conforms to vendor-supplied parameters.
  • Prepare job execution plans and work instructions based on ITB requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of piping stress analysis principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in industry-leading software, such as Caesar II and PIPENET.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards, including ASME B31.3, B31.4, and ISO 14692.
