Piping Stress Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Piping Stress Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity of piping systems, safe operation and compliance with relevant industry codes, standards and client specifications.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of piping stress analysis, design and analysis, support and load design, documentation and reporting, quality and compliance, and interdisciplinary coordination.   • Design and Analysis: Conduct static and dynamic analysis of piping systems to ensure seamless integration with other engineering disciplines.
  • Support and Load Design: Select standard and special piping support components and issue accurate load data to civil and structural engineering teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare project-specific piping stress specifications, design basis documents and detailed stress analysis reports.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure all analysis and design activities comply with international codes and standards such as ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 and API.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to manage interfaces and communicate loads correctly.

We require a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, and at least 8-12 years of experience in piping stress analysis for Oil & Gas industry, including onshore and offshore projects. Expertise in CAESAR II software and knowledge of WRC 107/297 for nozzle flexibility and flange leakage analysis is essential.
