Job Title : Data Analyst

Years of experience : 8 - 11 years

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform advanced data analysis and modeling.

  • Support the delivery of complex transformation programs within data portfolios.
  • Work with agile teams to create world-class products that meet customer needs.
  • Perform business change, functional, and non-functional requirement elicitation across stakeholders, interfacing those requirements with cross-asset IT teams to deliver working reconciliation solutions.
  • Own and produce relevant analysis and modeling artefacts to enable development teams to develop working products.
  • Understand end-to-end user journeys beyond system capabilities.
  • Provide advanced business knowledge and technical support for requirements development.
  • Create/enhance logical and physical data models adhering to agreed standards, fulfilling both business and technical requirements.
  • Undertake metadata analysis including naming logical entities and attributes, physical tables and columns, definitions, and appropriate data types and lengths.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong Data Analysis and/or Data Modeling experience of 4-8 years.
  • Strong financial domain and data analysis skills covering activities like requirement gathering, elicitation skills, gap analysis, data analysis, effort estimation, reviews, ability to translate high-level functional data or business requirements into technical solutions, database designing, and data mapping.
  • Be an individual contributor with a good understanding of SDLC & Agile methodologies.
  • A team player with self-starter approach, having a sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in fast-paced and continuously changing environments.
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills and capable of building rapport and relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to bridge gaps and assist business teams & technical teams to successfully deliver projects.
  • Other Skills: SQL, MS-Office tools, GCP Big Query, Erwin, Visual Paradigm (preferable).
  • Comprehensive understanding of Data Modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical), creating and delivering high-quality data models following agreed data governance and standards.
  • Maintain quality metadata and data-related artefacts which are accurate, complete, consistent, unambiguous, reliable, accessible, traceable, and valid.
