Japanese Translator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Japanese Translator.

The successful candidate will possess excellent language skills, including proficiency in Japanese and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate technical documents, reports, and other materials from Japanese to English;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate translation and meet deadlines;
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry terminology and concepts;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in translation or a related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Proficiency in Japanese language (N2 level) and strong writing skills;
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Help Desk operations;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mastery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL;
  • Experience with tools like JIRA and ServiceNow;
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities;
