Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous team member to oversee preventive maintenance schedules, manage equipment breakdowns, and ensure operational efficiency.

  • The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient maintenance execution in SAP.
  • The selected individual will develop and maintain the Preventive Maintenance Plan (PMP) and necessary records of breakdowns and maintenance activities as per defined frequency.
  • This role involves handling external contractors and agencies, reviewing, and ensuring implementation of instructions, Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to production operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Objectives:
  • To guarantee site readiness in terms of equipment availability as per site objectives.
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, understanding, implementation, and regular monitoring.
  • To adhere to principles of Good Engineering Practice (GEP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate inventory control for instrument spare parts and balance investigation.
  • Plan, consolidate, and submit the maintenance budget for the allotted area unit.
  • Ensure that the maintenance expense is within the allocated amount.
  • Responsible for ensuring availability of all process equipment and regular maintenance of all process equipment spares by following up with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), external vendors, and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
  • Closure and completion of assigned Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPA) on time.
  • Support technical documentation activities at the site as per instructions from the Section Head.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain all necessary documents for audits like SOPs, formats, PM books, protocols, and Machine History Books for the respective areas.
  • Facility upkeep of respective areas as per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards.
  • Implement Good Engineering Practices (GEP) at the site.
Operational Tasks:
  • Responsible for all activities being carried out as per SOP, safety, and GMP standards.
  • Operation, breakdown, preventive maintenance, modification, improvements projects in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Water System.
  • Timely closure of all safety and Quality CAPA.
  • To prepare spare inventory list for HVAC Building Management System (BMS).
  • Filling daily operation logs of HVAC BMS System and ensuring all operations are being carried out as per SOP.
  • Perform integrity of vent filters as per schedule.
  • Calibration of all instruments in HVAC BMS performed as per date.
  • Ensure safety interlocks are in working condition in HVAC BMS.
  • Follow-up with purchase for spares and services.
  • Providing various services required for all departments.
  • Coordinate facility upkeep in Service floor HVAC BMS.
  • To ensure the availability of vendors for routine works and smooth operation.
  • Verifying measurements sheets and service reports of all vendors.
  • Continuous efforts for energy conservation towards natural resources as well as artificial.
  • Requalification activities of HVAC.
  • Quality Management System (QMS), Document Control Hub (DOCHUB), and all documents-related activities in the engineering department.
  • Maintaining 5S in Service Floor in HVAC BMS.
  • Execution of Installation, Commissioning of new equipment along with related documentation like Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) etc. in coordination with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs).
