We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead and manage our revenue cycle management team in India. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end knowledge of the US healthcare revenue cycle, including medical billing, medical coding, prior authorization, denial management, and insurance verification.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish processes and train staff to ensure compliant and high-quality delivery for US clients.
- Manage a team of experienced billers and coders, ensuring efficient workflows and performance metrics.
- Medical Billing & Coding: Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to payers.
- Prior Authorizations: Verify patient coverage and obtain necessary approvals from payers.
- Payer Credentialing: Establish and maintain relationships with payers to ensure smooth billing operations.
- US Healthcare Insurance Verification: Validate patient insurance information to prevent delays in reimbursement.
- Charge Entry & Payment Posting: Accurately record and process payments received from payers.
- Denials Management: Analyze and resolve denied claims to minimize financial losses.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-ups: Pursue outstanding payments to optimize cash flow.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as AR days, first pass resolution rate, and denial percentage.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve revenue cycle efficiency and reduce costs.
- Liaise directly with US stakeholders for process updates and escalations.
- Provide regular reports and actionable management insights to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership presence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Requirements include 10+ years of proven experience in US RCM, with 3+ years in a billing manager/supervisor role, as well as expertise in medical billing, medical coding, prior authorization, denial management, and insurance verification.
Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and major PM/EHR systems is also essential.
