Job Description

The role of Backup Administrator is a technical position that requires exceptional troubleshooting skills and a passion for technology. As part of this team, you will be responsible for providing world-class support to our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, including customer installations and training.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and configuration of backup software, including setting up tape backup devices.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to backup issues and outages.
  • Creation of reports for both clients and management.
  • Participating in 24x7 on-call rotations for storage backup support.
">Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with Spectrum Protect, Spectrum Protect Plus.
  • Knowledge of Hitachi, Oracle, IBM Storage, and EMC arrays.
  • Experience with Rubrik, Networker, AVAMAR, NetBackup, TSM & SPP.
  • End-to-end support of TSM IBM Spectrum Protect and SPP infrastructure.
  • Configuring policy management based on client requirements.
