Transaction Monitoring Specialist Role

Our organization seeks an accomplished Transaction Monitoring Specialist to manage and enhance our financial crime mitigation tools and platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • 15+ years of extensive experience in Transaction Monitoring, with at least 5 years focused on mitigating financial crime risk using advanced tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to make informed decisions based on technical insights.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices to drive business growth and success.
  • Proven experience as a Transaction Monitoring Specialist to manage and optimize our financial crime mitigation tools is essential.

In addition to the core responsibilities, desirable skills include:

  • Project Management skills and excellent presentation abilities.
  • Certification from reputable institutions such as ACAMS or equivalent is highly valued.
  • Strong coding skills in languages like Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with data engineering practices for model integration.
  • Expertise in creating interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Tableau.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Data Science, Compliance Advisory, Risk Management, Surveillance, Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, and Data Analysis. Experience with programming languages like C++, Scala, and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Hive, Hadoop, and familiarization with cloud platforms for scalable TM solutions is highly desirable.
