Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills:

  • AWS Services: Experience working with Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue, Amazon Lambda, Amazon EC2, S3, and other related services.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and knowledge of PySpark.
  • Data Storage Formats: Familiarity with columnar storage formats such as Parquet, Avro, and ORC, as well as compression techniques like Snappy and Gzip.
  • Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, schemas, and knowledge of data modeling tools.
