Job Description:

Monitoring and Control Specialist

As a Monitoring and Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will be responsible for monitoring key controls and processes, identifying potential risks and implementing solutions to mitigate them.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Technology, Product Control line teams, In-Country Finance teams, COO, Risk teams, and other finance and Ops teams within GBS. Your goal will be to ensure that all controls are followed, completed, and reviewed in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role
  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic, and market environment in which the Group operates
  • Ensure processes for which the person is responsible are executed as required


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
  • 2-4 years of experience in similar field
  • Good understanding of Accounting and Financial Markets products
  • Reasoning skills, hands-on experience with PeopleSoft financials, SAP, MS Office & MS SQL will be an added advantage
  • Strong Control mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill which help build an effective internal network across the numerous stakeholders
