Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Experience: 1-3 Years

Job Description –Job Purpose

1. Enhance distributor sales by providing training and increasing customer interactions.

2. Identify and acquire new distributors from competitors.

3. Foster trust among new and existing distributors through regular engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Visit retail shops, dealers, and distributors to introduce Loom Solar products and offerings (daily visits to 10 counters).

2. Conduct cold calls to prospective customers and dealers to identify sales opportunities.

3. Generate leads for the dealer network to increase sales.

4. Negotiate with dealers to sell Loom Solar products at competitive prices.

5. Prepare quotations and share them with dealers for their order requirements.

6. Maintain records and update all visits in the company's sales application.

7. Respond promptly to dealer calls and messages.

8. Ensure Loom Solar products are the preferred choice in the channel over competitors.

9. Maintain a 30-day inventory stock with channel partners.

10. Monitor distributor and dealer stock movements and secondary/tertiary sales.

11. Organize distributor/dealer meets and training programs.

Qualifications (What We Need)

1. Preferred graduate/MBA candidate with 1-2 years' experience in the Solar/Power Backup industry.

2. Preference given to employees of Luminous, Liveguard, Exide, Microtek, Okaya, Polycab, and Havells.

3. Excellent communication skills, fluency in both English and Hindi.

4. An attitude to get things done, willing to work for at least 2 years.

5. Rigorous follow-up and negotiation skills to build relationships with dealers/distributors.
