Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at AccorHotel. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify faults in wiring, switches, outlets, and other components.
  • Testing and Inspection: Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and hazards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate electrical work and minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Industry Updates: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in electrical work.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and electrical hazards.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls and address electrical issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, including switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and transformers.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Electrical Testing Equipment: Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools, such as multimeters, voltage testers, and cable trackers.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose electrical problems accurately.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Stamina: Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
  • Certification or Training: Certification or vocational training in electrical work is required.
