Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Service Technician to diagnose and repair electric two-wheeler systems, perform regular maintenance and servicing tasks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  1. Diagnose and repair electric two-wheeler systems, including motors, controllers, batteries, and other electrical components.
  2. Perform regular maintenance and servicing tasks, such as inspections, part replacements, software updates, and troubleshooting.
  3. Test vehicle systems for performance, battery efficiency, and safety compliance.
  4. Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics related to EV systems.
  5. Perform battery management tasks, including testing, charging, and replacement of battery cells.
  6. Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  7. Inspect mechanical and electrical components to ensure proper functioning and safety standards.
  8. Upgrade, retrofit, or recalibrate vehicle software and hardware as needed.
  9. Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations for electric vehicles.
  10. Document and report all work performed, including parts used, repairs conducted, and system performance.
  11. Communicate with customers regarding service issues, estimates, and recommendations for repairs.
  12. Stay updated on new EV 2-wheeler models and advancements in electric vehicle technology.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in automotive/electric vehicle technology preferred.
  • Experience in electric vehicle servicing, particularly 2-wheelers, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including batteries, electric motors, controllers, and charging systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and interpreting schematics.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical components, such as suspension, brakes, and wheels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in varied positions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EV-specific training or certification (e.g., high-voltage safety certification).
  • Prior experience working with Lithium-ion battery systems or battery management systems (BMS).
  • Familiarity with EV software updates and troubleshooting tools.
