We are seeking a highly skilled Cost and Value Optimization Expert to join our team at Siemens Energy. In this role, you will be responsible for driving diverse projects and initiatives that generate high customer value at competitive target costs.
The major objective of Cost and Value Engineering is to create transparency in cost and value drivers along the entire value chain by applying state-of-the-art methodology. This involves fostering a cross-functional mindset change towards cost and value awareness, establishing transparency in cost and value of products, systems, and solutions, and contributing improvement proposals to support various business processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving the integration of state-of-the-art Cost and Value Engineering in business processes
- Fostering a cross-functional mindset change towards cost and value awareness
- Establishing transparency in cost and value of products, systems, and solutions
- Contribution to competitiveness and profitability of products and solutions through the application of Cost and Value Engineering levers and methods
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills to identify key cost drivers, experience in optimization of cost and value improvement opportunities, and experience in heavy industrial manufacturing processes. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office software is required.
