Power Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI L3 Support Engineer to lead the resolution of complex business intelligence issues, optimize reporting performance, and support enterprise-scale Power BI deployments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI troubleshooting and report development, as well as experience with SQL, SSAS Tabular models, DAX, and Power Query.
They will also possess excellent communication and independent problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with data engineering teams on root cause analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support for Power BI across the enterprise.
- Resolve performance, refresh, and query folding issues.
- Maintain data marts, datasets, and SSAS models.
- Collaborate with data engineering on root cause analysis.
- Document support processes and known issue resolutions.
- Continuously improve Power BI platform stability.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Power BI troubleshooting and report development.
- Strong querying, optimization, and debugging skills in SQL.
- Experience with SSAS Tabular models and dimension modeling.
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
- Administering Power BI workspaces and governance policies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric dataflows/pipelines.
- Experience in ServiceNow or ITSM tools.
