MongoDB Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MongoDB Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MongoDB and a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain MongoDB databases and Atlas clusters;
  • Design and implement efficient database architectures for high availability and performance;
  • Create and manage data backups, including point-in-time recovery and disaster recovery strategies;
  • Establish robust security measures to protect against unauthorized access;
  • Configure and monitor replica sets, ensuring maximum uptime and minimal downtime;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices;
  • Provide top-notch support to users through incident problem management tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience with MongoDB administration;
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB fundamentals, including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization;
  • Experience with database security, backup, and recovery procedures;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
