About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ecommerce Back End Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript front-end technologies, as well as strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience.
  • Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
  • Record data and report it to appropriate parties.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and learn new programming languages.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
  • 10-14 years of experience with primary expertise in Ruby on Rails and familiarity with JavaScript front-end technologies.
  • A strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a group.
