Job Title: Mobile Application Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Mobile Application Quality Assurance Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the world of mobile app testing.

  • This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests for mobile applications using tools like Appium and Selenium.
  • Maintaining and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCTest) is also a key responsibility of the role.
  • The selected candidate will work collaboratively with developers, QA, and product teams to identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Performing functional, regression, performance, and security testing for mobile apps will be an essential part of the job.
  • Analyzing test outcomes, preparing detailed bug reports, and communicating findings clearly to technical teams is crucial.
  • Continuously improving automation processes and increasing test coverage is expected of the successful candidate.
  • Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and documentation will also be a key responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated tests for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
  • Execute automated tests using tools like Appium and Selenium.
  • Maintain and enhance mobile test automation frameworks.
  • Work collaboratively with developers, QA, and product teams.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Analyze test outcomes and prepare detailed bug reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in mobile app automated testing and scripting.
  • Sound knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
