Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work on Oracle CPQ systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and experience working with Oracle CPQ solutions.

  • This role involves acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and define requirements for Oracle CPQ solutions.
  • The analyst will analyze current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvements through technology.
  • Facilitating workshops and meetings is required to elicit business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Supporting the implementation of CPQ solutions, including integration with existing systems and processes, is essential.
  • User acceptance testing (UAT) will be conducted to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Training and support will be provided to end-users on CPQ tools and processes.
  • Ongoing enhancements will be made by continuously monitoring and analyzing CPQ system performance and user feedback.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Engineering, is necessary to ensure alignment on CPQ objectives.
  • Data analytics will be used to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing pricing strategies and quotation processes.
  • Business processes will be documented, and clear communication maintained with stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
  • Assisting in the development of project plans and timelines for CPQ initiatives is crucial.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in CPQ implementation is vital.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Oracle CPQ systems and processes, is essential.
  • A strong understanding of sales processes and experience in configuring pricing models is necessary.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with experience in SQL and Excel preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels are required.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing changes and challenges are necessary.
  • Experience with CPQ tools and ERP systems is highly desirable.
