Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in building cutting-edge mobile applications.

  • Manage a remote team of engineers while taking ownership of systems behind Zeller's Mobile App and Point of Sale software.
  • Drive architectural solutions collaboratively with your team and engineering leadership to build and scale Zeller's mobile products.
  • Write production code regularly as a core contributor while maintaining oversight of your team's technical deliverables.
  • Own operational excellence for your team's systems including monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements.
  • Champion modern development practices including active use of LLMs within your team.

Requirements:

  • You have owned solution design for complex features within mobile apps before and have worked with applications used at scale.
  • You have experience in mobile system design and demonstrate well-reasoned, rational decision making with the ability to navigate between detail and broader context.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can move from a conversation with non-technical stakeholders to reframing a project into detailed designs requirements for your engineering team.
  • You have a strong self-learning drive and are actively using and adapting your workflows to incorporate generative AI tools.
