Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to develop a mobile application for livestock management. The ideal candidate will have experience in building mobile apps using React Native and proficiency in the Typescript ecosystem.

The successful candidate will collaborate with our team to design, implement, and maintain the product's mobile app, ensuring a high bar of engineering and coding standards.

  • Design and develop the UX and front-end interfaces of the mobile app.
  • Partner with our team to understand the requirements of farming partners.
  • Integrate APIs to allow farmers to view their livestock on the map.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team to develop a mobile application for managing and monitoring herds efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain the product's mobile app, designing the UX and developing the application's front-end interfaces.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps using React Native.
  • Proficient in the Typescript ecosystem, including monorepos.
  • A thorough understanding of interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps.
  • Ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with mapping libraries in React Native or Native frameworks.
  • Understanding of native iOS and Android ecosystems.
  • A good knowledge of UX best practices for SaaS based interfaces & AI.
  • Contributed to open-source projects.

First Six Months:

  • Build a mobile app that allows farmers to see their farm map with multiple layers and annotations.
  • Work with various aspects of the map feature.
  • Create virtual polygons to plot the region for farms on the map.
  • Annotate the polygons with points of interest.
  • Generate heat maps of farm livestock activity.
