We are excited to announce an excellent career opportunity at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). We are seeking a passionate and experienced academic leader for the role of Professor - Department of Psychology.

Role Overview:

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is seeking a dynamic and visionary academic leader for the position of Professor and above of the Department of Psychology. The ideal candidate will possess extensive teaching and research experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive the department's academic and research excellence. The department offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programs in Psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic leadership and strategic direction to the Department of Psychology.
• Develop and enhance the curriculum to align with current industry trends and research advancements.
• Mentor and guide faculty members in teaching methodologies and research pursuits.
• Foster a research-oriented environment, encouraging faculty and students to publish in reputable journals.
• Ensure high standards of university teaching and student engagement.
• Collaborate with national and international institutions for academic partnerships and research collaborations.
• Oversee administrative responsibilities, faculty recruitment, and departmental budget management.
• Organize seminars, workshops, and conferences to promote academic discourse.
• Engage in curriculum development and periodic program assessments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Extensive university teaching experience at UG, PG, and PhD levels.
• Strong curriculum development expertise.
• Proven research capabilities with publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students and faculty in research and professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in an academic leadership role is highly desirable.
