Scalable Software Solutions Developer

As a Scalable Software Solutions Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing software solutions that cater to the needs of our clients.

  • Develop scalable software solutions on distributed systems like Hadoop using Spark Framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software development life cycle from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design client-side and server-side architecture for large-scale applications.
  • Build features and applications capable of running on distributed platforms and/or cloud environments.
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed.
  • Create security and data protection settings for sensitive information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role as an individual contributor or development lead.
  • Familiarity with common stacks, including Core Java, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, and Spark API.
  • Knowledge of React framework and UI experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field.

Others:

  • Experiences with databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with developing on distributed application platform like Hadoop with Spark.
  • Good to have knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and UI/UX design.
  • 4-7 years of prior working experience in a global organization.
