Cloud DevOps Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves designing and enabling application support, managing production farms, and handling infrastructure platforms for different delivery teams. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable and efficient infrastructure platforms.

You will also establish best practices, cultivate thought leadership, and develop common solutions on infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing advanced aspects using Service Mesh technologies
  • Defining container-based environment topology following well-architected framework principles
  • Implementing strategies for reliability requirements, ensuring business continuity, meeting performance objectives, security requirements, and deployment strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with 9-12 years of experience in DevOps, holding a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or computer applications. Relevant skills and experience include:

  • Expertise in DevOps & Cloud tools (AWS, Azure, GCP, Git, Gitlab, GitHub)
  • Hands-on experience in Container Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Hosted solutions)
  • Infrastructure Automation (Chef/Puppet/Ansible, Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation)
  • CI/CD tools on-premises/cloud (Jenkins, TeamCity)
  • Monitoring, Logging, and Security (CloudWatch, cloud trail, log analytics, ELK, EFK, Splunk, Prometheus, OWASP, SAST, DAST)

Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in designing pipelines & pipelines as code, end-to-end deployment processes, and strategy. Good exposure to tools and technologies used in building container-based infrastructures is also desired.

We are seeking candidates with strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to write complex code, and proficiency in automation skills. Experience with migrations tools, load balancing, CDN options, and network algorithms on failover and availability is highly valued.

  • The capability of estimating setup time required for infrastructure and build & release activities
  • Good working knowledge of Linux Operating System
  • Skill development, knowledge base creation, and toolset optimization
  • Handling Content Delivery Network and performing root cause analysis
  • Understanding of DBMS like MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL like Cassandra, MongoDB
  • Capacity Planning and Infrastructure estimations

Certification in any cloud (Architect or Professional) is also beneficial.
