Electromagnetic Analysis Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to support our simulation team in analyzing products with Ansys Maxwell/Motor-CAD. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Electrical machines, and Machine design.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform 2D & 3D FE analysis of electrical and electronic devices and components.
  • Provide online/offline training to customers on the Ansys tool, Maxwell, and Motor-CAD.
  • Be well-versed with 2D/3D Maxwell Pre/Solver/Postprocessors.
  • Have skills in RMxprt, Maxwell 2D and 3D, Maxwell Circuit, Motor CAD, BLDC motors, Induction motor (single-phase and three-phase), Design optimization.
  • Perform the following with a focus on quality and delivery metrics: Finite Element Preprocessing (Geometry clean-up/de-featuring & meshing), Solving (Convergence, numerical stability, and accuracy).
  • Post Process motor performance plot.
  • Verify and validate Maxwell Results with test data/analytical data.
  • Generate FE Analysis Reports.
  • Interact with customer teams for inputs and deliverables.
  • Prepare analysis summary for technical review meetings with clients.
  • Provide valuable recommendations and design suggestions to clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Electromagnetic analysis with Ansys Maxwell.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and teaching.
  • Excellent understanding of Finite Element Analysis, Electrical machines, and Machine design.
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in Maxwell simulation and clear presentation of simulation results.
  • Strong ability to handle multiple projects.
