Market Data Support Specialist

At our organization, we require a Market Data Support Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the high availability and performance of market data systems.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in market data support or a similar role within the financial services industry. A strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and market data products is essential for this position. Proficiency in market data platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar is also required.

This specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to market data feeds, applications, and infrastructure. They will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address and resolve data discrepancies and outages. Additionally, they will maintain and update market data configurations, entitlements, and permissions.

The successful candidate will also assist in the onboarding of new data sources and the integration of market data into various platforms. They will provide technical support and training to end-users on market data tools and applications. Conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry standards is also a key responsibility.
