Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

Our client is on a mission to build the future of IPO process support, and we're looking for passionate collaborators who can help us get there. As a Quality Assurance specialist you will work with our digital technology team to code, test, debug, and maintain the architecture of our solutions to support our brand websites.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an Agile environment using Microsoft Visual Studio ecosystem, GitHub, and Atlassian stack (Jira & Confluence) to test applications.
  • Elaborate test plans and cases with well-documented scenarios for new frontend web application and REST APIs.
  • Develop automated scripts with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress, ensuring high test coverage according to industry best practices.
  • Perform manual testing as needed and document results according to industry standards.
  • Participate in requirement gathering with development team to identify optimal solutions for new application and its services.
  • Elaborate technical documentation on performed work according to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of QA and development methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Good coding skills in JavaScript.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g Jira, VSTS).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level English (very good writing skills, fluent speech).
