As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for driving the success of our release process. Your expertise in planning and execution will ensure that our products are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Release Planning & Execution: Develop detailed timelines, milestones, and dependencies to drive successful releases.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Development, QA, Operations, and Product Management teams for aligned release preparations.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate potential risks or issues impacting release timelines or quality.
  • Change Management: Document, communicate, and approve changes according to established processes.
  • Cloud Deployment Oversight: Coordinate deployments in cloud environments ensuring compliance with security and operational policies.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Champion continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices to improve release efficiency.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track release progress and provide regular updates, including performance metrics and status reports.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead issue resolution during release phases to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Release Calendar Management: Maintain the organization's release calendar, coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Merge Management: Oversee merging validated changes into main code branches, collaborating with development and QA teams.
  • Change Advisory Board (CAB): Present planned changes in CAB meetings and secure approvals as required.
  • Go/No-Go Readiness: Organize Go/No-Go meetings to assess readiness before deployment.
  • Post-Release Activities: Monitor post-release performance, coordinate hotfixes if needed, and facilitate Post-Implementation Reviews.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certification in cloud technologies, e.g., AWS Solutions Architect.
  • Familiarity with containerization, e.g., Docker, and orchestration tools, e.g., Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Strong understanding of release processes in complex, large-scale environments.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and optimize workflows.
