Senior Network Engineer Role

We are the digital guardians of a leading retail and hospitality organisation in the Middle East, North Africa, and India. Our mission is to provide seamless digital experiences for our customers.

This role oversees the configuration, maintenance, and support of Network & Security devices. You will deploy SDWAN across territories, maintain configuration, troubleshoot SDWAN issues, coordinate upgrades, patches, and new installations with IT infrastructure teams.

  • You will be responsible for critical incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution, maintaining SLAs, and ensuring high uptime of the Network & Security environment.
  • With a strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs), you will define the technology roadmap and maintain technical debt of Network & security devices by regularly upgrading components based on OEM recommendations.

8-10 years of experience in Retail Industry within IT Infrastructure Department-Network administration function is required. A minimum CCNA OR CCNP certification is necessary. Proficiency in managing network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers is essential.

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI) and a good understanding of ITIL processes are desirable. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs)
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Retail Industry within IT Infrastructure Department-Network administration function
  • CCNA OR CCNP certification
  • Proficiency in managing network hardware (routers, switches, wireless controllers, load balancers)
