Technical Project Manager Job Description

This role supports end-to-end project management for general client implementations across multiple projects. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for scoping requirements, designing project management elements, and providing support to clients and colleagues throughout the project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a working knowledge of Talogy solutions and platforms.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop project scope of work plans and documentation.
  • Lead and/or facilitate planning sessions to build consensus among project team members regarding task definitions, sequencing, and interdependencies.
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain detailed project plans.
  • Prepare project reports for project status meetings as required.
  • Identify, track, monitor, and communicate on project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies.
  • Monitor workflows and deadlines to ensure all team members meet project goals accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, including vendors, associates, contractors.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by handling questions, concerns, feedback, etc., with speed, accuracy, friendliness, and professionalism.
  • Ensure project plans deliver against SLAs and other KPI expectations regarding costs, schedules, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow processes around documenting client work and interactions using tools like Salesforce and OpenAir.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a project management environment is essential.
  • Education or certification in project management is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using web-based project management software, such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams.
  • Desirable but not required: previous experience in the talent management industry.
  • Demonstrable evidence of being able to collaborate effectively, multitask, and prioritize workloads for self and others.
