We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to lead the development of our mobile app, create engaging AI-driven video content, and oversee the product experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the FAM mobile app, including onboarding, meal planning, ingredient carts, dashboards, and settings.
  • Develop production-ready UI in Figma, incorporating components, variants, tokens, motion specifications, empty states, and accessibility annotations.
  • Prototype interactions and collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Conduct research, usability testing, and iterate with stakeholders to drive user satisfaction.
  • Create short AI videos (10-60 seconds) explaining product features, onboarding nudges, release highlights, and social media cut-downs.

Requirements

Design Expertise
  • Proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, constraints, components, design tokens, libraries, and prototyping.
  • Mobile patterns knowledge, covering iOS and Android guidelines.
  • Interaction design skills, encompassing micro-interactions, motion principles, states, edge cases, and empty-state strategy.
  • Information architecture and flows expertise, including complex form design, data-dense dashboards, and progressive disclosure.
  • Accessibility awareness, encompassing color contrast, hit-targets, focus order, Dynamic Type, voice/assistive support, and WCAG awareness.
  • Usability practice, including test planning, lightweight testing, insight synthesis, and iteration.
  • Effective handoff quality, including redlines/specs, motion notes, and dev-ready assets.
AI Video Generation
  • Hands-on experience with modern tools, including Runway, Pika, Stable Diffusion, and Adobe After Effects/Premiere.
  • Prompt crafting, including storyboarding prompts, seeds, negative prompts, and control nets.
  • Explainer pipeline expertise, including generating, upscaling/denoising, editing, captioning, and exporting videos.
  • Brand discipline, encompassing color, typography overlays, logo safety, tone, and content safety/IP hygiene.
  • Auditory basics, including VO timing, music/SFX fit, and loudness standards.
Desirable Qualities
  • Deliverables with Lottie/Bodymovin, including Figma to Lottie workflows.
  • Experience in designing for data visualization and information design.
  • Front-end delivery expertise, including React Native basics, Zeplin/Relay plugins, or tokens-to-code thinking.
  • Experience in health/wellness/food/e-commerce, comfort handling PII and privacy-minded UX.

Portfolio Requirements

  • Two mobile app case studies showcasing end-to-end thinking, including problem, flows, UI, prototypes, outcomes, and metrics.
  • One short AI-generated video (30-60 seconds) explaining a product feature, including prompt notes or a brief process write-up.
  • A live Figma file or clear screen recordings.
