Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to develop and execute detailed test specifications for both white box and black box testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up various testing environments, consulting with the HIL platform administrator, specifying and developing HIL verification and validation tests, performing black box tests, managing and organizing test results, and analyzing test results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing detailed test specifications for both white box and black box testing.
  • Setting up various testing environments, including Model in Loop (MIL), Software in Loop (SIL) and Hardware in Loop (HIL).
  • Consulting with the HIL platform administrator to ensure the HIL platform capability matches the test specification requirements.
  • Specifying and developing HIL verification and validation tests for newly developed systems.
  • Performing black box tests on a HIL test system, including setting up and starting up the HIL system, specifying and executing test suites, test cases and test measurements.
  • Managing and organizing test results, reports and test experiments.
  • Analyzing test results and reporting to product engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Electrical Specifications and Block Diagrams.
  • Body Electronics Domain, including Body Controller, Head Lamp, Battery Management System (BMS) and Motor Controller Unit.
  • Vector Products, such as CANoe, VN0A etc.
  • HIL and Simulation tools, including dSPACE, ETAS, Vector and NI.
  • Programming languages, including HIL deployment, plant model/test environment development, improvement projects and understanding of CAN and Diagnostic Protocols like UDS.
  • Test methodologies, test strategies, systems and tools, including MIL, SIL and HIL.
  • Test automation and tools.
Benefits

A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required, along with relevant experience in the industry. Knowledge of Electric Vehicles is an added advantage.
