Job Title: Fragrance Analyst

At DSM, we are seeking a skilled Fragrance Analyst to join our team of experts in the field of perfumery and fragrance development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market product intelligence by GC/MS analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the fragrance market.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure standardized laboratory protocols and deliverables align with our global strategy.
  • Perform market product extractions using techniques such as SPE, SPME, and liquid-liquid extraction.
  • Report data to enhance current AI and Digitization projects.

You Bring:

  • Experience in consumer fragrance market products analysis utilizing GC/MS, Headspace, and other techniques.
  • Proficiency in the identification of perfumery raw materials by both analytical tools and olfactive ability.
  • Proficiency in SPE, SPME, liquid-liquid, steam distillation, and other extraction techniques.
  • Able to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment used.
  • Good proficiency in using, maintaining, and improving existing databases.
  • Able to perform data treatment with basic to advanced software tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Master's degree in analytical chemistry or a related field.
