About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fragrance Analyst to join our team at DSM. As a Fragrance Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting fragrance data to support the development of new fragrances and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market product intelligence by GC/MS analysis
  • Ensure short-medium-long term deliverables are aligned with global strategy
  • Perform market product extractions (e.g. SPE, SPME, liquid-liquid)
  • Report data to enhance current AI and Digitization projects
Requirements
  • Experience in consumer fragrance market products analysis utilizing GC/MS, Headspace, and other techniques
  • Proficient in the identification of perfumery raw materials by both analytical tools and olfactive ability
  • Proficient in SPE, SPME, liquid-liquid, steam distillation and other extraction techniques
  • Able to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment used
  • Good proficiency in using, maintaining, and improving existing databases
  • Able to perform data treatment with basic to advanced software tools
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Master's degree in analytical chemistry
