Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Python and PostgreSQL. This role involves designing and developing robust backend services, working on API development, integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, deep understanding of scalable backend systems, and hands-on experience with database modeling and query optimization.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Design and develop scalable backend services using Python.
  3. Work on API development, stitching, and integration with third-party services.
  4. Build efficient database models and optimize queries in PostgreSQL.
  5. Collaborate with frontend teams and DevOps for seamless delivery.
  6. Write unit tests and integration tests for developed features.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development using Python.
  • Strong understanding of API architecture and RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, including advanced query writing and optimization.
  • Knowledge of API stitching and handling complex workflows.
  • Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with async programming in Python.
  • Exposure to message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
