Housekeeping Associate Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Housekeeping Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transport supplies and equipment as required, using designated vehicles or carts.
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, replacing linens, and replenishing amenities.
  • Restock cart with cleaning supplies and linens, and transport to assigned area.
  • Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
  • Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or maintenance issues to management.
  • Store flammable materials properly and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Wear uniform and maintain personal appearance according to company standards.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is necessary, but candidates should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Able to speak clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
