Lead Financial Operations Specialist

Critical Activities of the Job:

  • Financial Management:
  • Finalize financial statements for assigned entities, ensuring smooth completion of audits (Standalone and Consolidated).
  • Manage business combinations/impairment testing and related work of PPA/Valuation reports with the help of third-party consultants.
  • Oversight of end-to-end financial operations, control, and compliance for assigned entities.
  • Ensure entities under scope comply with relevant policies and serve as the second line of defense.
  • Support entity simplification initiatives.
  • Drive compliance with respect to EDPMS/MTT/IDPMS with respective stakeholders.
  • Review account reconciliations in BlackLine and drive better control.
  • Prepare and submit all statutory compliance reports in a timely manner.
  • Reduce local reporting time and additional entries.
  • Support assessments of Income tax/other external audits.
  • Familiarity with IND AS, FEMA, and relevant laws in India to ensure smooth completion of Statutory Audit.
  • Team handling, internal/external stakeholder management.
  • Business Partnership and Process Improvement:
  • Maintain regular connections with extended teams, key finance and business stakeholders to deliver US GAAP & IGAAP compliant financials.
  • Identify, propose, lead, and support process improvement/automation opportunities.
  • Provide financial reports, analysis, explanations, and advice based on knowledge of financial information, relevant GAAP, and SAP systems to SBU/auditors.
  • Support implementation of Treasury, Tax, and Controllership initiatives.
