Debt Recovery Specialist

This role involves working closely with multiple sources to negotiate payment schedules that suit the customer's current financial situation while still satisfying the debt. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of debtors and ensuring timely payments.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a proven track record in debt recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate payment schedules with customers to ensure timely payments
  • Manage a portfolio of debtors and track delinquency rates
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
  • Investigate defaulting accounts and identify remedial courses of action
  • Collaborate with sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in debt recovery or a related field
  • Graduate degree required; master's degree optional
