Debt Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collection department, you will be responsible for negotiating payment schedules with customers, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Negotiate payment schedules that suit the customer's current financial situation while ensuring debt recovery.
• Monitor and maintain customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities, making timely customer calls and processing necessary adjustments.
• Update customer files, recording times and dates of contact, and noting information received by the customer.
• Investigate defaulting accounts and identify reasons for default while maintaining a healthy relationship with the customer.
• Collaborate with the tracing team to locate defaulters and assets, suggesting remedial actions when necessary.
• Work closely with sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process, including repossessing assets and seeking legal support as required.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

Desired Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in the field.
