Job Description

This position will involve leading the preparation of build plans, authoring assembly work instructions, and implementing standard works in assembly operations. You will work closely with global teams to ensure the assembly work instructions are defined most efficiently, thereby ensuring best value for our customers.

This role offers opportunities to be part of integrated project teams on the manufacturability and producibility of design definitions. You will drive process improvements by continuously reviewing existing assembly processes and identifying potential opportunities to improve and standardize the assembly process for our diverse range of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Author build plan for Aircraft Structural assemblies, Systems and Payloads.
  • Create Installation plan in CAPP/MES and Author work instructions.
  • Lead the implementation of Standard works in assembly operations for Boeing products.
  • Ensure the prevailing Installation plans are audited and meet the defined standards.
  • Continuously review the existing assembly process and drive process improvements.
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
