Industrial Engineer - Assembly Line Development

The Industrial Engineer - Assembly Line Development position is a challenging role that involves designing and implementing efficient production assembly lines to meet capacity, quality, safety, and ergonomic requirements.

  • This position requires expertise in product assembly process design, specifying, implementing, and qualifying manufacturing process equipment in compliance with SPS principles.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring product feasibility for new offers and contributing to continuous improvement actions for process equipment in existing manufacturing operations.
  • Technical expertise is required to work within local industrialization teams or local manufacturing engineering teams to select, validate, introduce, standardize new assembly technologies/processes locally.
  • Responsibilities also include developing new layouts and improving current ones, vendor support functions, lean manufacturing, value stream approach, cost reduction, and execution of new projects.
  • Specialized skills are required in product selections including conveyor systems, pneumatics, robots integration, pick and place, servo slides selection, tooling testing equipment, gluing, UV curing, bowel feeder tightening equipment selection, welding, and laser marking camera inspections.
  • Skilled professionals must be able to provide innovative, precise, and cost-effective solutions for meeting technical challenges.
  • Additionally, this position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor software.
  • Effective communication and understanding of customer process requirements and product requirements are essential for success in this role.
