Automation Test Engineer
Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our testing department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for API proxies and web applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with API Testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and Selenium/Java or related technologies. They should also have proficiency in test automation frameworks using Java/Python and good understanding in RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, response codes, headers.
In addition, the successful candidate will have experience in OAuth2.0 validations and other security policies, as well as familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
As an Automation Test Engineer, you will work closely with SA/Dev/QA team members to understand requirements, prepare test cases, execute them, and identify/report defects in functionality. You must have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support the development process and ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications.
You will be required to work with other team members around the globe to provide required support during early morning and evening hours. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not necessary. We offer competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API proxies and web applications
- Develop data-driven test scenarios using automation frameworks

Requirements:
- 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree
- OR 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelors degree
- Strong hands-on experience with API Testing tools
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks using Java/Python
- Good understanding in RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, response codes, headers
- Experience in OAuth2.0 validations and other security policies
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
