Scooter Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automobile Technician to fill this position. As an essential member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our vehicles.

• Customer Service:
  • Greet customers with politeness, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Verify service requests made by customers and update the system.
  • Engage in conversational skills for telephonic and face-to-face discussions.
  • Communicate with customers regarding repair updates.
• Vehicle Diagnosis:
  • Analyze and diagnose scooters to identify repairs required.
  • Update diagnosis reports in the Workshop Management System (Getafix).
  • Perform repairs and conduct final inspections on vehicles.
• System Operations:
  • Track customer complaints in Zendesk and update the system in real-time.
  • Operate the Workshop Management System (Getafix) and maintain 100% adherence.
  • Update operational status and estimated time of arrival (ETA) on both CRM and WMS systems.
  • Monitor scooter health using Telematics Command Centre for deep diagnosis.
• Technical Repair Skills:
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of OLA Scooter technical specifications.
  • Repair or replace scooter parts as needed.
  • Stay updated on OLA technical curricula, news bulletins, and EV developments.
• Process and Operational Efficiency:
  • Ensure process adherence at Experience Centres and clearly mark bays for vehicles/scooters.
  • Invoice and collect payments from customers.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environments, free from foreign materials.
• Inventory Management:
  • Audit inventory levels to ensure system accuracy.
  • Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and maintain inventory at Experience Centres.
  • Coordinate warranty part reverse logistics to Mother workshops.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Wear uniform and protective gear during scooter repairs.
  • Use protective gear and handle tool kits safely.
  • Ensure fire-fighting equipment is accessible and functional.

Requirements:

• Male candidates only.
• Minimum qualification: 12th pass, diploma, ITI, graduation, or post-graduation.
• Minimum experience: 6 months in an automobile industry service sector.
