Job Description - Academic Leader

A leading educational institution seeks a visionary and experienced Academic Leader to drive academic excellence and administrative efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong vision for academic innovation, and the ability to foster collaboration among faculty members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing effective timetables that optimize resource utilization and ensure seamless delivery of academic programs.
  • Overseeing the preparation and distribution of essential information to students at the start of each semester or term.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the institution to facilitate timely enrollment generation for new students.
  • Updating institutional data on teaching, learning, staff, examinations, academic programs, and circulars/notices for students on the university website and Management Information System (MIS).
  • Conducting regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to discuss challenges and explore solutions.
  • Holding periodic meetings with students to gather feedback on teaching, learning, and examinations.
  • Assisting the Principal and Dean in preparing for scheduled expert committee visits.
  • Organizing training programs, workshops, seminars, and symposiums with the Principal and Centre for Human Resource Development.
  • Collaborating with the Admissions Cell to organize career awareness seminars in various regions.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Ph.D. degree
  • Professor/Associate Professor with 15 years of teaching/research/administration experience in Universities, Colleges, and higher education institutions.
