Leading the Technical Delivery of Automotive Electronics Hardware:

The Director of Automotive Embedded Hardware oversees the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle OEMs, including instrument clusters, in-vehicle infotainment systems, cameras, information displays, and cockpit electronics controllers.

  • Craft electrical hardware design strategies to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Analyze customer specifications to understand requirements and expectations.
  • Develop automotive products using microcontrollers, system-on-chips, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and other relevant technologies.
  • Maintain digital core designs, audio, camera, and video signal processing, analog and digital control logic, linear and switching power supplies for automotive applications.
  • Perform worst-case analysis and simulations to guarantee compliance with customer demands.
  • Contribute to product design reviews and provide input on design enhancements.
  • Create and maintain schematic and assembly drawings within the change management framework.
  • Develop and maintain electrical Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMEA).
  • Generate electrical information for ECAD designers and support PCB layout development.
  • Collaborate on hardware prototype build and testing.
  • Develop product verification plans and perform testing to validate design and functionality.
  • Support Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and validation testing.
  • Utilize structured problem-solving techniques to resolve test failures and improve design robustness.
  • Present product design, analysis, and testing results to customers.
