Job Overview:

Senior Data Analyst Position

  • As a senior data analyst, you will be responsible for driving business decisions through the application of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Utilizing large datasets, you will extract valuable insights and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Performing complex experimentation and building data-driven models will enable you to answer intricate business questions and identify hidden relationships.
  • By developing and implementing Markov decision process models and healthcare economic models, you will inform business strategy and drive growth.
  • Effective communication of results to technical and non-technical audiences will be crucial in influencing product teams and driving business outcomes.
  • You will also play a key role in spreading best practices throughout analytics and product teams, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Additionally, you will implement new tools to streamline data analysis processes, increasing productivity and efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years of professional experience working with large datasets to draw business insights.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a data science role, applying machine learning and statistical techniques to drive business outcomes.
  • Professional working knowledge of machine learning, including solving complex business problems, predictive modeling, and leveraging structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Professional working knowledge of statistics and modeling techniques, with experience in relational databases and SQL.
  • Fluency in Python or R programming, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively communicating complex results to technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Experience in cloud environments, with a strong understanding of distributed computing and big data technologies.
  • Professional working knowledge of statistical methodologies and tools (R, SAS, SPSS, etc.), mathematical optimization, control theory, and time-series analysis.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing, information retrieval, or recommender systems, with experience in building and deploying scalable data models.
