Treasury Professional Opportunity

Manage the organization's cash, foreign exchange exposures, and investments to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liquidity & Cash Management:
  • Optimize cash flows to ensure optimal liquidity across geographies by forecasting short-term and long-term cash requirements. Automate host-to-host payments to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor FX exposures and execute hedging strategies according to policy to mitigate risk.
  • Foreign Exchange & Risk Management:
  • Calculate MTM valuations and prepare exposure reports to inform decision-making.
  • Negotiate with banks on FX transactions and derivative instruments to achieve favorable terms.
  • Investments & Fund Management:
  • Evaluate investment options (fixed deposits, money markets, bonds) and recommend suitable choices based on risk-return analysis.
  • Assess portfolio performance, profit and loss, and maintain investment records in accordance with investment policies.
  • Banking & Compliance:
  • Coordinate treasury operations with domestic and international banks to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Negotiate banking terms to minimize borrowing costs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare management information systems (MIS), dashboards, and treasury reports for leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting needs and collaborate with accounting and audit teams for accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of corporate treasury operations (liquidity, FX, investments).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and treasury management systems (TMS).
  • Knowledge of hedging instruments, derivatives, and investment options.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with RBI/FEMA regulations preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related field (CFA/FRM certification advantageous).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, preferably with a background in finance.
  • Prior experience limited to banking roles is not considered.
